It has been a while since I was volunteering at the Berwick Film Festival and was looking up places to eat and came across El Taperio that had such promising reviews on Trip Advisor and me having fallen in love with Spanish food and Paella after visiting Spain last Easter, had to visit this place that had such amazing reviews and a delicious looking menu.
Luckily it was right opposite the YHA I was staying at and I didn’t have to struggle much to find it.
There were Paella options, and a seafood menu that looked amazing. But I was one person and could only possibly eat to an extent.
So I had the mixed seafood Paella – Classic as it gets.
And oh my lord it was amazing. It was just as good as the ones we tried in Barcelona. It was colourful, hot and looked amazing.
I managed to scrape off every bit of the platter and was not disappointed. This restaurant definitely stood out as one of the best I had in the year.
